Base Salary
$175k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the shared component library and design system across consumer, partner-facing, and internal products.
- Build and ship consumer app features including cardholder onboarding, account management, and rewards.
- Design and build internal tools for operations and risk teams.
- Take projects from concept through requirements, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Partner with product, design, backend engineering, partners, risk, and compliance teams.
- Improve performance, accessibility, observability, and developer experience across the stack.
- Contribute to frontend platform architecture and provide technical guidance to engineering peers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience building production systems at scale, including 3+ years with React across consumer products and data-heavy internal tools.
- Strong fundamentals in state management, component architecture, accessibility, testing, and UI quality.
- Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems used across multiple products.
- Ability to work across consumer, partner, and internal product surfaces while maintaining high-quality user experiences.
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects end to end in cross-functional environments.
- Clear communication, rapid learning, and the ability to teach others.
- Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in fintech, payments, fraud, or financial services is a bonus.
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures, component library development, Next.js, TailwindCSS, React Native, Yarn monorepos, and REST or GraphQL backend integration is a bonus.
