Responsibilities
- Own B2B product initiatives end-to-end, from understanding problems to validating outcomes.
- Gather context, define hypotheses and success criteria, shape work, and drive initiatives through delivery.
- Build and operate production software across backend and frontend.
- Work directly with merchants, business stakeholders, Product Design, and other engineering teams.
- Make pragmatic product and technical decisions with incomplete information.
- Use data, feedback, and experiments to decide whether to iterate, change direction, or stop.
- Contribute to evolving Merchant Portal into a platform for other B2B teams.
- Use AI throughout exploration, implementation, testing, debugging, and learning unfamiliar systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building production software.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience owning work beyond implementation.
- Ability to work across backend and frontend when needed and operate comfortably with ambiguity.
- Strong product and customer curiosity, autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
- Comfort working directly with stakeholders and other teams.
- Experience using AI meaningfully in a software development workflow.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and/or React is preferred.
- Strong full-stack experience is preferred.
- Experience building platforms or capabilities used by other teams is preferred.
- Experience with product discovery, experimentation, or success metrics is preferred.
- Spanish fluency is preferred.
