Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, maintain, and support software automation for post-silicon validation and integration activities.
  • Build full-stack applications, workflow tools, test orchestration, data pipelines, dashboards, reporting, and infrastructure automation.
  • Develop database and data-processing solutions for silicon parametric data, regression, stress testing, and operational reporting.
  • Troubleshoot application, script, database, server, network, lab-infrastructure, software, and hardware issues.
  • Support application deployments, servers, lab IT infrastructure, scheduling services, dashboards, and development and production environments.
  • Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot validation platforms, development boards, PCs, connectivity and power equipment, thermal units, instruments, racks, and automated handlers.
  • Execute silicon testing, characterization, regression, debug experiments, diagnostics, and recovery of validation setups.
  • Coordinate with validation engineers, technicians, software and electrical teams, project managers, facilities, IT, mechanical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain lab inventory, equipment readiness, documentation, operating procedures, support runbooks, and a safe ESD-compliant laboratory environment.
  • Support project-driven activities outside core hours when required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus relevant technical experience, an associate degree or technical certification in a related technical field, or a bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant engineering support, laboratory operations, or related technical experience; the listed minimum-qualification pathways specify 2+ years with a bachelor's degree, 3+ with an associate degree, or 4+ with a high school diploma.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and application development, with experience building automation, workflow tools, test infrastructure, data-processing solutions, or full-stack applications.
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, or comparable database and data-access technologies.
  • Working knowledge of source control, CI/CD, unit testing, regression testing, debugging, and software-release practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot across application software, operating systems, automation, databases, networks, servers, hardware interfaces, and lab infrastructure.
  • Ability to work with Windows and Linux, networking concepts, common productivity tools, documentation, planning, and cross-functional support.
  • Preferred experience includes JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Flask, Django, Angular, REST APIs, AWS or comparable cloud platforms, Splunk, Jenkins, Power BI, scheduling tools, and dashboarding.
  • Preferred experience includes automated regression frameworks, Git or Perforce, statistical analysis, visualization, high-volume parametric-data processing, generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning, Agile or Scrum, and low-level software or hardware troubleshooting.
  • Preferred exposure includes CPU or SoC architecture, VLSI, post-silicon testing, power and performance, stress testing, JTAG, kernel debuggers, automated handlers, thermal equipment, development boards, rack-mounted platforms, and validation laboratories.
  • Ability to work onsite, safely handle lab hardware, lift or move equipment up to approximately 20 lb, and support occasional evenings or weekends.
