Responsibilities
- Develop custom software solutions and enhance components across systems and applications.
- Analyze requirements, design solutions, and write and test code for application components.
- Develop scalable data-processing pipelines using PySpark.
- Optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation using PySpark.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Document technical designs and development processes.
- Monitor and improve application performance and reliability.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Participate actively in team discussions and contribute solutions to work-related problems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years working with PySpark.
- Proficiency in PySpark is required.
- Experience developing scalable data-processing pipelines using PySpark.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts and big data frameworks.
- Ability to optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Knowledge of integrating PySpark applications with various data-storage systems.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
