Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack services and interfaces using backend languages and React.
- Drive technical designs and architectural decisions across frontend interfaces and backend distributed services.
- Promote testing, security, maintainability, and deployment best practices.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to scope and deliver complex logistics features.
- Identify technical debt, scalability bottlenecks, and architectural opportunities for the technical roadmap.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend and backend production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years working across backend and frontend systems.
- Strong coding skills in one or more of Go, Java, Python, or C++, and frontend technologies including React, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Experience building scalable microservices and frontend applications integrated with APIs.
- Deep understanding of web performance, API design, and data modeling.
- Experience with backend and frontend unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and their practical application.
- Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle is preferred.
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers is preferred.
- Familiarity with frontend component libraries and design systems, strong product sense, UX attention, and logistics or transportation industry knowledge are preferred.
