Responsibilities
- Develop pre-silicon firmware and software that directly interfaces with and operates silicon chips.
- Integrate and develop C tests and APIs and support the software build flow.
- Perform design reviews, code reviews, testing, and validation of product implementations.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with silicon components.
- Document design decisions and test results and contribute to process improvements.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute solutions as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Embedded C.
- Proficiency in Embedded C and experience with low-level hardware interfacing and debugging.
- Strong understanding of embedded system architecture and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with software build systems and version control tools.
- Ability to perform detailed code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and embedded software validation processes.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
