Responsibilities
- Co-lead the UI Platform team and provide hands-on technical leadership.
- Design, implement, and evolve a scalable Angular-based UI platform and reusable component library.
- Develop shared frontend capabilities, Node.js build toolchains, and micro frontend solutions.
- Ensure platform performance, accessibility, security, usability, and long-term maintainability.
- Partner with downstream product teams to support adoption, gather feedback, and improve the platform.
- Collaborate with architects, lead engineers, and UX/UI designers to turn design systems into engineering solutions.
- Ensure platform development complies with bank standards, security requirements, and SDLC best practices.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in modern frontend engineering, ideally with Angular and TypeScript.
- Significant experience designing and maintaining large-scale component libraries or shared UI platforms.
- Strong knowledge of CSS architecture, accessibility, frontend performance optimization, and UX consistency.
- Experience working closely with UX/UI designers and implementing design systems.
- Strong experience with automated frontend and platform testing, including tools such as Cypress and Playwright.
- Good understanding of backend systems, APIs, frontend-to-backend contracts, API evolution, and backward compatibility.
- Hands-on or prior experience in Java-based environments, such as Spring-based services.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native delivery models.
- Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles in production-grade systems.
- Open-source community management experience is a plus.
