Responsibilities
- Write code that meets project requirements and complies with documentation and design standards.
- Create standard documentation translating project needs into software design specifications.
- Correct defects identified through QA software testing and systems testing.
- Assist with requirements gathering and product definition activities.
- Support field test personnel after development.
- Assist in creating overall architecture for software systems.
- Occasionally provide direction to testing and lab support personnel.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree and 2–4 years of experience.
- Candidates without a degree may qualify with 6–8 years of combined education and equivalent work experience.
- Work effectively under limited supervision and develop approaches for assigned tasks or project portions.
- Experience leading projects or research with limited scope and complexity is relevant.
