Responsibilities
- Automate operations and optimize infrastructure in collaboration with application teams.
- Ensure enterprise systems are reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performing.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in large-scale environments.
- Use monitoring, logging, incident management, and root-cause analysis practices to improve service reliability.
- Support platforms and services for identity management, factory and device support, infrastructure, collaboration, and the broader Apple ecosystem.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming or scripting ability with Java, Python, Bash, or Lua.
- Hands-on experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as Oracle or MongoDB.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, or CloudWatch for monitoring and logging.
- Preferred proficiency in Linux, networking concepts, TLS/SSL, DNS, load balancers, and troubleshooting large-scale environments.
- Preferred understanding of Git, CI/CD, release engineering, DevOps, security standards, policies, and cryptography.
- Preferred experience with incident and problem management, root-cause analysis, Nginx, Envoy, NetScaler, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.
