Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and optimize custom software components across systems and applications.
- Design and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data environments using Databricks and related data-processing technologies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, manage team performance, and make team decisions.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders on key technical and business decisions.
- Identify and implement software-development best practices to improve productivity and product quality.
- Troubleshoot complex software issues in data analytics contexts.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.
- Coordinate software-development activities with business goals and project timelines.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 8 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform is stated in the additional information.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Proficiency with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform is required.
- Experience with PySpark is preferred.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts and data-processing frameworks is required.
