Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate customer needs into technical solutions and shape product requirements
- Design, write, review, and ship maintainable, production-safe code
- Own feature development end to end, including coding, deployment, monitoring, QA, and iteration
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data partners from concept through deployment
- Contribute technical input and balance short-term delivery with long-term scalability
- Advocate for engineering best practices and improve developer tooling and experience
- Participate in code reviews and architectural deep-dives
- Communicate clearly through detailed pull request descriptions and proactive blocker escalation
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in high-growth product environments
- Strong coding and architectural proficiency with a focus on reliable, maintainable delivery
- Full-stack proficiency across backend services, APIs, and modern frontends using React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong product instincts and ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions
- Ability to use AI coding tools effectively while maintaining architectural integrity
- Understanding of the feature lifecycle from local development through production monitoring
- Preferred fluency in Django, Python, React, and React Native
- Preferred experience with feature flags, config-driven behavior, and progressive rollouts
- Preferred exposure to LLM-based systems, prompt engineering, tool-call architectures, or agent workflows
- Domain experience in two-sided marketplaces or recruitment platforms is a plus
