Base Salary
$82k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and complete manual and automated test plans, procedures, scripts, and reports.
- Lead and coordinate test planning and execution across project schedules and cross-functional dependencies.
- Perform Design Verification and Validation, hands-on testing, test automation, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Participate in requirements reviews, design reviews, code inspections, static analysis, and test-driven development activities.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, specifications, test procedures, quality processes, and Design History File content.
- Support software-related risk management, audits, inspections, regulatory responses, and quality-system initiatives.
- Review test protocols and results, approve Document Change Requests, and drive improvements to software and firmware testing.
- Provide quality engineering support for firmware, communication software, non-product software, and automated manufacturing test systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- At least two years of combined experience in software development, embedded systems applications, software testing, or verification and validation.
- Programming experience with one or more of C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Visual Studio.
- Experience with software configuration management and defect-tracking tools such as Git, Jira, Subversion, ClearQuest, DOORS, or Bugzilla.
- Experience with code review and static-analysis tools such as Code Collaborator, Coverity, or Parasoft DTP.
- Experience supporting automated test execution and coordination.
- Knowledge of V-Model, iterative, and Agile/Scrum software and test lifecycles.
- Knowledge of FDA, GMP, IEEE 1012, and ISO 13485 requirements, along with statistical/data analysis and report writing.
- Prior medical-device experience and ASQ CSQE certification are preferred.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, work in a matrixed environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate effectively.

- Base pay is listed at $81,500.00–$141,300.00.
