Base Salary
$82k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and complete manual and automated test plans, procedures, scripts, and reports.
- Lead and coordinate test planning and execution across project schedules and cross-functional dependencies.
- Develop, review, and maintain software quality procedures, specifications, SOPs, and test documentation.
- Perform design verification and validation, hands-on testing, test automation, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Participate in requirements reviews, design reviews, code inspections, and software and firmware quality assessments.
- Support software risk management, Design History File completeness, regulatory compliance, audits, inspections, and change requests.
- Drive continuous improvement of software and firmware testing through improved tools, automation, checklists, and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum two years of experience, including experience in software development or embedded systems and software testing or verification/validation.
- Programming experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Visual Studio.
- Experience with configuration management and defect tracking tools such as Git, Jira, Subversion, ClearQuest, DOORS, or Bugzilla.
- Experience with code review and static analysis tools such as Code Collaborator, Coverity, or Parasoft DTP.
- Experience supporting automated test execution and working in Agile or iterative software development lifecycle programs.
- Knowledge of V-Model, Iterative, and Agile/Scrum lifecycles, FDA and GMP requirements, IEEE 1012, and ISO 13485.
- Strong collaboration, communication, organization, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills in a matrixed environment.
- Medical-device experience is preferred, ASQ CSQE certification is desired, and broader enterprise or cross-division experience is preferred.
