Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS services including EC2, S3, Elastic IPs, Glacier, SQS, and Lambda.
- Manage and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design and maintain queue-based processing pipelines using RabbitMQ and AWS SQS for message and email queuing.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health and performance.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Work with development teams to streamline CI/CD processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analyses, and support system reliability and uptime.
- Secure cloud operations by managing access controls and applying cloud and network security best practices.
- Optimize the cost, scalability, and performance of deployed resources.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in AWS environments.
- Experience securing cloud infrastructure and applying network security methods and techniques.
- Ability to take ownership of projects from design through implementation.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to contribute to Agile events, adapt ways of working, and provide solutions that keep development on track.
