Base Salary
$111k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Review product design and suggest improvements from a testability and user perspective.
- Design and deliver effective and automatable test plans.
- Write test automation that executes on large parallelized CI/CD infrastructure.
- Conduct code reviews for automation and product code.
- Analyze and recommend appropriate tools for automation.
- Simulate negative scenarios and perform chaos testing.
- Handle customer escalations and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders throughout product development.
- Work effectively in fast-moving environments and learn the domain deeply.
- Manage on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience, ideally a mix of SDET and product testing.
- Strong expertise in programming languages like Python, Java, or Go (Python preferred).
- Experience in designing test frameworks.
- Expertise in RESTful Web Service automation and Day-1 automation readiness.
- Deep knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- System/server-side experience for troubleshooting and strong knowledge of Linux.
- Understanding of technologies like Redis, Kafka, Ceph, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker, or Drone.
- Experience with cloud-based products addressing reliability and scale issues.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted platforms for automation code generation.
