Responsibilities
- Build regression automation scripts supporting application functionality.
- Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance, and other testing types.
- Maintain test cases, document feature behavior, record test results, and correlate failures with bugs.
- Identify and escalate product or process quality risks.
- Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback into testing strategy.
- Participate in refinement, effort estimation, release planning, and the on-call rotation.
- Use GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run scripts, and support automated quality practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role and 7+ years of experience in automated testing.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Gherkin, SQL, and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with Jest, Puppeteer, Playwright, Postman, JMeter, or other object-oriented automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, LambdaTest, SendGrid, Datadog, and PagerDuty.
- Understanding of quality management systems and quality control processes.
- Background in data-based testing and/or security-based testing.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a holistic quality mindset.
