Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Parsec’s low-latency native game-streaming application across multiple platforms.
- Work on UI, encoding and decoding, networking, input, video rendering, and related core technologies.
- Write and deploy performant, modular, maintainable C code to a product used by more than five million people.
- Solve complex low-latency engineering challenges, including work involving UDP protocols.
- Use customer feedback and community needs to improve the product experience.
- Mentor and support other Parsec engineers.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience working in a production C codebase.
- Familiarity with Windows desktop application development.
- A strong desire to learn, improve products, and satisfy customers.
- Experience working with a globally distributed team.
- Sufficient English proficiency for frequent professional written and verbal communication with worldwide colleagues and partners.
