Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance, low-latency components for the ETF electronic trading platform.
- Build and deploy trading features across European, US, and global or Emerging Markets.
- Enhance automated market making and client RFQ pricing workflows.
- Design and develop the new ETF Blotter within the Edge Board platform.
- Create maintainable data flows between the ETF Portal, pricing engines, booking systems, and other trading systems.
- Analyse ETF trading workflows including blotter, booking, and validation processes and translate them into improved system designs.
- Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, and tools for the ETF trading ecosystem.
- Contribute to distributed-system architecture, platform scalability, automation, testing, deployment, monitoring, observability, and performance tooling.
- Work with traders and quants to capture requirements and deliver solutions through short development cycles.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing Front Office trading systems, ideally in electronic trading or market-making environments.
- Advanced Python skills and strong SQL or data-handling capabilities.
- Strong software engineering background with experience designing and building production-grade systems.
- Understanding of client-server and distributed architectures.
- Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Degree from a top university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in complex, fast-paced trading environments.
- Exposure to C++ is desirable, particularly for performance-critical components.
- Knowledge of ETF products, RFQ workflows, or pricing systems is desirable.
- Self-starter with a strong engineering mindset and ownership culture.
