Base Salary

$111k - $193k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment across development, staging, and production.
  • Build and manage AWS infrastructure, including S3, IAM, networking, and services supporting secure file transfer and data movement.
  • Migrate manual platform setups to Infrastructure-as-Code for consistent and repeatable environments.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, including access control, encryption, and secure configurations.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health and issue visibility.
  • Support PostgreSQL and other data storage solutions for the IronGate data pipeline.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to translate requirements into robust platform solutions.
  • Serve as the primary platform owner while collaborating with other technical teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including S3, IAM, networking/VPC, and security groups.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Experience applying security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience setting up monitoring and logging, such as CloudWatch or similar tools.
  • Strong PostgreSQL experience and familiarity with other data storage options.
  • Experience working as the primary platform owner for a product.
  • Preferred experience with regulated cloud environments such as AWS GovCloud or environments governed by FedRAMP or DoD requirements.
  • Preferred experience with AWS Transfer Family, AWS DataSync, ETL or data pipeline workloads, and supporting web application teams such as React or Angular.
  • Applicants must meet U.S. Government security-clearance eligibility requirements; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
