Base Salary
$135k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and scale robust automated test frameworks and CI/CD integrations.
- Create workflows to validate complex hardware/software integrations and resolve system-level bottlenecks.
- Lead failure analysis and risk mitigation to improve test stability and environment reliability.
- Drive risk-based testing strategies covering critical-path functionality.
- Perform technical test case design and deep-dive manual exploratory testing.
- Engage with developers to understand new features and technologies and create automated testing solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 6+ years of professional experience, or a master’s degree with 5+ years in an SDET or Software Engineering role.
- Proven experience leading complex automation projects from design through implementation.
- Foundational ability to perform deep-dive manual exploratory testing and technical test case design.
- Strong hands-on experience developing in Python and C++.
- Ability to work across diverse codebases and use professional judgment when leveraging AI coding assistants.
- Self-directed engineering approach and experience treating test infrastructure as a first-class product.
