Responsibilities
- Lead and support the software development team’s day-to-day technical activities and delivery outcomes.
- Design, develop, test, and document software solutions using Agile and DevSecOps practices.
- Lead technical reviews and guide engineering teams on quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Set technical direction within the software team and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate across engineering teams and locations.
Requirements
- Strong software development skills, with Rust experience preferred.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and set technical direction within a DevSecOps software development approach.
- Academic qualification in a STEM-related subject.
- Ability and willingness to become recognised as a Chartered Engineer through an appropriate recognised professional institution.
- Applicants must achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance; some roles may require higher national security vetting and be subject to security and export control restrictions.
