Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test new features, including APIs for billing software and user interfaces for the customer portal.
- Develop backend services, business logic, and integrations with commercial systems.
- Build and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js.
- Support the software development lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Integrate third-party services and internal systems via APIs.
- Troubleshoot bugs and performance issues while supporting system reliability and optimization.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and use GitLab for version control, collaboration, and code reviews.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in software development.
- Good knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with at least one frontend framework, preferably Vue.js.
- Understanding of API design and integration.
- Basic knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
- Interest in cloud technologies and modern software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments such as GCP is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of system integration and microservices architectures are preferred.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, communication, attention to detail, and continuous-improvement skills.
