Base Salary
$108k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, integration, and testing of software in a collaborative environment.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, delegate work, and provide technical guidance.
- Resolve complex software trouble reports, debug defects, and optimize code performance.
- Provide technical leadership, drive continuous improvement, and promote industry best practices.
- Contribute to requirements, implementation, and test development.
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to analyze, implement, and test system modifications.
Requirements
- Experience developing, testing, or integrating software with Java, C++, or C#.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, or DevSecOps.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required before the start date.
- U.S. citizenship required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- Typically a STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree and at least 5 years of experience.
- Preferred: Python experience; Windows and Linux development; multithreading; networking and communications protocols; Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket; and Docker or other containerized applications.
