Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, reliable cloud-native applications within AWS.
- Design and support cloud-based solutions for mission-critical operations.
- Advise Air Power clients on cloud strategy, architecture, migration, and current cloud capabilities.
- Research existing environments and recommend tools and solutions across on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
- Build cloud-native microservice full-stack applications and apply DoD STIGs or CIS Benchmarks.
- Troubleshoot cloud-native deployments, configurations, and AWS networking issues in secured environments.
- Collaborate with teams and clients to resolve complex cloud challenges and ensure standards are met.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience architecting and developing scalable, reliable cloud-native applications within AWS.
- At least 3 years of experience with hybrid-cloud networking in SIPR, TS, or JWICS environments.
- At least 3 years of experience building cloud-native microservice full-stack applications and working with DoD STIGs or CIS Benchmarks.
- At least 3 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience with DoD impact levels or classifications, AWS cloud, SQL and NoSQL databases, air-gapped cloud environments, event-driven architectures, and microservices.
- Experience with DoD cloud architecture or management, security, or networking.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, statistics, or engineering.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification within 60 days of starting.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes or other Kubernetes distributions, Ubuntu, RHEL, Windows Server, AWS networking troubleshooting, Single Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID.
- AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification is preferred.
