Responsibilities
- Architect and develop security platform capabilities for critical security, compliance, and privacy use cases.
- Build new production services using Golang and Java.
- Design, scale, maintain, deploy, operate, and diagnose backend systems using modern cloud technology.
- Define strategic technical roadmaps and translate product and technical vision into quarterly plans.
- Review feature designs and cross-cutting company projects for security, safety, scalability, operational integrity, and architectural clarity.
- Manage technical priorities, project deadlines, and deliverables.
- Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.
- Debug difficult technical problems and write high-quality, well-tested code.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services.
- Knowledge of composing service-oriented architectures.
- Strong technical skills in system design and coding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for building an open financial system.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
