Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services for ingesting, processing, and serving video and sensor data at scale.
- Ship natural-language video search, real-time detection, and agentic workflow features using multimodal LLMs and computer vision.
- Implement user-facing frontends with TypeScript and React in collaboration with product.
- Design scalable APIs and systems interfacing with ML pipelines and edge device fleets.
- Contribute to infrastructure and architecture decisions, distributed systems, real-time processing, and high availability.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced startup environment and communicate technical decisions effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar relevant experience.
- Strong experience with Golang, Python, or C++.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, React Query, and Tailwind.
- Experience designing and building scalable backend systems and APIs.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, containers, Kubernetes on AWS, and Pulumi for infrastructure as code.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development and an understanding of where it is effective.
- Startup experience building systems from scratch or scale-up experience.
- Strong understanding of system performance, reliability, and clean architecture.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work onsite.
