Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions for engineering-process improvement.
- Research AI techniques and mature solutions from concepts and proof of concept through validation and deployment readiness.
- Build production-quality APIs, services, data pipelines, and AI applications.
- Collaborate with internal customers, engineering teams, universities, strategic partners, suppliers, institutions, and academia.
- Evaluate technologies and product designs against scientific and engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and specifications.
- Support component and module development through design engineering, validation, prototyping, testing, and production-process evaluation.
- Identify technology gaps, analyze engineering results, and propose product, component, system, and performance improvements.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage R&D and innovation programs, including technical issue resolution, documentation, and progress reporting.
Requirements
- Master’s or higher degree in engineering, including artificial intelligence or computer science.
- At least five years of experience, including PhD research and software, machine learning, generative AI, or AI-related industry experience.
- Strong foundation in machine learning principles, algorithms, and practical applications.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or comparable AI and machine learning frameworks.
- Experience building production-quality APIs, services, data pipelines, and generative AI or agentic AI applications.
- Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficiency with Git, Linux terminal, and Bash scripting.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Engineering domain knowledge is preferred.
