Responsibilities
- Develop and improve core cellular technologies for Apple wireless products.
- Work across cellular protocol software layers including Data Path, SIM, NAS, AS, and iOS interfaces.
- Design software solutions and debug embedded-system issues.
- Collaborate with multifunctional engineering teams to improve cellular connectivity and user experience.
- Contribute to innovative solutions for customers using iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and other wireless products.
Requirements
- Pursuing a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, wireless communication, or equivalent experience.
- Strong software engineering skills in C or C++.
- Understanding of embedded real-time operating-system concepts.
- Ability to debug embedded-system issues.
- Understanding of 5G NR and LTE is preferred.
- Python or Perl scripting skills are appreciated.
- Passion for solving problems, attention to detail, strong communication, and documentation skills.
