Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software systems and automated test suites using Python, C, and C++.
- Create new test cases and use Pytest and GTest to validate Python and C/C++ components.
- Debug test failures with Python and C/C++ debugging tools, logs, stack traces, and failure outputs.
- Enhance and refactor test suites for reliability, maintainability, and quality.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for test execution, gating, and validation.
- Drive architectural discussions, influence technical decisions, review code, enforce best practices, and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical requirements and delivery plans.
- Apply prompt engineering and open-source AI tools to generate or refine test scenarios.
Requirements
- 4–10 years of relevant experience designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade software systems using Python.
- Expert proficiency with Pytest and C/C++ testing frameworks.
- Experience with C, C++, Python, and adding test cases for both Python and C/C++ components.
- Ability to understand and debug test failures using tools such as pdb, VS Code, PyCharm, GDB, and CLion.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with generative AI, prompt engineering, and AI-driven testing tools.
- Strong system design, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
