Responsibilities
- Contribute to cybersecurity research projects, emerging security trend evaluation, and innovative defense prototypes.
- Assist in creating and automating security scripts, tools, and workflows.
- Support monitoring of global infrastructure and implementation of security guardrails across AWS and GCP.
- Develop detection engineering skills by translating threat intelligence into actionable security alerts.
- Research IT vulnerabilities, perform root-cause analysis, and support the integrated security lifecycle from design through operations.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate with a technical undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in computer science, information technology, or a related engineering field.
- No prior full-time professional work experience; internships and academic projects are permitted.
- Basic proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Foundational understanding of SOC workflows, the Cyber Kill Chain, common attack vectors, Windows and Linux internals, and cloud security principles.
- Familiarity with the logic behind SIEM, CASB, CNAPP, or CSPM tools.
- Fluent English and strong curiosity, analytical ability, attention to detail, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
