Responsibilities
- Define the reference MLOps stack and CI/CD patterns for the agentic AI platform.
- Own model and agent pipelines, approvals, artifact provenance, immutable releases, rollbacks, and canary deployment patterns.
- Standardize Databricks serverless and Kubernetes/Seldon serving topologies with SLO, cost, and performance guardrails.
- Implement model and agent evaluation, drift and quality checks, telemetry dashboards, and cost monitoring.
- Integrate Unity Catalog lineage and policies into delivery pipelines and produce audit-ready evidence.
- Operate the platform to SLOs through incident response, on-call support, capacity planning, cost optimization, post-mortems, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in MLOps, SRE, or platform engineering with production ML/AI workloads.
- Deep experience with Databricks MLflow and enterprise CI/CD is highly preferred.
- Experience designing and operating multi-environment releases with approvals, secrets, and identity management.
- Experience with Terraform or Crossplane and cloud networking on Azure and/or AWS.
- Hands-on experience with model and agent evaluation and monitoring, plus SLOs, incident response, and capacity and cost management.
- Familiarity with ArgoCD, Crossplane, Istio, Knative, OpenSearch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with Kubernetes/Seldon model serving and migration toward Databricks Mosaic is optional.
- Familiarity with agentic AI evaluation, RAG observability, multi-cloud operations, cross-region latency management, and Unity Catalog governance is optional.
- Ability to produce audit-ready evidence and communicate in English.
