Responsibilities
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Implement production changes safely while minimizing operational risk.
- Automate repetitive operational processes and engineering workflows.
- Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, and performance.
- Investigate and resolve complex production incidents.
- Improve disaster recovery readiness, operational resilience, and recovery procedures.
- Maintain and improve test and production environments.
- Support compliance and IT control processes.
- Continuously improve observability, reliability, and incident prevention.
- Collaborate with international engineering teams across ING.
- Participate in standby rotations when required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Application Developer and/or DevOps Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Ansible, and Docker.
- Strong Linux administration experience, particularly in RedHat-based environments.
- Good networking and infrastructure knowledge.
- Experience with ELK Stack, Grafana, and Prometheus or similar monitoring and observability tools.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting.
- Experience supporting production applications and resolving complex incidents.
- Understanding of web security and secure software delivery practices.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
- Ability to collaborate within international and distributed teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, stakeholder management, ownership, and continuous improvement skills.
