GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate algorithms that improve software alert relevance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with domain experts to validate detected patterns against operational realities.
- Integrate algorithmic solutions with equipment-monitoring platforms for scalability and robustness.
- Evaluate algorithm performance using metrics such as false alarm reduction rates and pattern detection accuracy.
- Document work according to project standards for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or PhD program in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of temporal pattern recognition, time-series analysis, or related machine learning techniques.
- Experience with Python and machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and contribute to collaborative software development projects.
- Preferred experience with industrial sensor data, anomaly detection, event classification, statistical analysis, clustering algorithms, Jupyter, cloud-based environments, Git, Confluence, and Jira.
