Base Salary
$179k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver machine learning models and components in collaboration with Product and Data Science teams.
- Develop and validate ML models, application code, automated tests, and deployment processes.
- Retrain, maintain, monitor, and operate machine learning solutions in production.
- Build cloud-based architectures and platforms for optimized ML models at scale.
- Construct and scale data pipelines for training and evaluating ML models.
- Apply testing, deployment, monitoring, governance, Responsible AI, and Explainable AI practices.
- Use Python, Scala, or Java and collaborate within a cross-functional software development team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
- At least 4 years of machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- At least 4 years of experience using and operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark and Ray for AI/ML data preparation.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying and operating ML solutions in production and operating cloud production services using AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s or doctoral degree, 3+ years optimizing ML algorithms or infrastructure, 3+ years building resilient production software and data pipelines, and 1+ year as a technical lead developing ML solutions.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with supervised, semi-supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning; regression, classification, and clustering; RNNs, CNNs, LSTMs, and Transformers; and ML model evaluation and diagnosis.
- Preferred qualification includes authorship or co-authorship of a paper on an ML technique, model, or proof of concept.
