Responsibilities
- Define test strategies and lead test automation initiatives.
- Design and execute manual and automated tests for UI, API, and database layers.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Write, execute, and optimize test scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
- Perform API and database validations, analyze logs, debug failures, and report defects.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps on end-to-end quality assurance.
- Conduct performance testing and improve test coverage and related metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, such as Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent degree.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience developing and designing QA automation frameworks.
- Required experience in software development and SDET work.
- Strong coding, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-analysis skills.
- Experience with Python, Perl, shell scripting, Selenium, test automation, and software testing.
- Experience with databases, preferably MySQL, and REST/API testing experience is a plus.
- Ability to integrate end-to-end tests with CI/CD pipelines and monitor test coverage metrics.
- Performance testing experience with relevant automation and monitoring tools.
- Exposure to Dockerization or virtualization is a plus.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and basic understanding of operating systems.
- Ability to work in a dynamic development environment and adapt to changing requirements.
