Responsibilities
- Execute test cases across game releases and identify and report defects to development teams.
- Perform regression testing to verify fixes and prevent new issues from being introduced.
- Investigate and reproduce field-reported issues to support resolution.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot QA test environments.
- Conduct exploratory gameplay sessions to uncover defects and identify testing scenarios.
- Create and maintain test cases to improve test coverage.
- Verify that software releases meet defined quality and regulatory requirements.
- Provide progress updates and collaborate with developers and QA leadership.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Software QA, Test Analyst, or similar quality assurance role.
- Good understanding of software testing principles and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Mantis.
- Familiarity with test management platforms such as qTest or TestRail.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
- Gaming industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
- ISTQB certification is advantageous.
