Base Salary
$57k - $73k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of AWS-based applications and enterprise integrations.
- Write and modify code using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Design and implement integration solutions with guidance from senior engineers and architects.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and automated testing of AWS-based integrations.
- Develop and maintain test scripts for APIs, data flows, and event-driven integrations.
- Validate payloads, error handling, logging, monitoring, and expected integration outcomes.
- Troubleshoot defects, assist with root-cause analysis, and verify fixes.
- Work with AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile development activities, collaboration, application support, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Technical education, coursework, training, or equivalent practical experience in software development, information technology, or a related technical field.
- Foundational programming or scripting skills using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Java, or a similar language.
- Basic understanding of APIs, software development concepts, testing practices, and source control such as Git.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn technologies and collaborate effectively.
- Preferred qualifications include hands-on AWS experience through work, internships, coursework, training, labs, or personal projects.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with AWS services, web application development, API or automated testing, enterprise integration, messaging, event-driven systems, or an AWS certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
