Responsibilities
- Design and prototype AI-driven tools for hardware data analysis, test automation, and debugging.
- Implement backend services in Python and frontend interfaces in TypeScript using React/Next.js.
- Integrate SQL and vector databases for data storage, search, and retrieval.
- Explore AI/ML workflows including embeddings, retrieval, summarization, and code assistance.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to turn requirements into working tools.
- Write documentation, tests, and deployment scripts.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python with type hints and TypeScript.
- Basic knowledge of web development and frontend frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL queries and database schema design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to learn.
- Able to commit to a minimum four-month full-time internship, with six months preferred.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with Hugging Face, LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LLM APIs.
- Preferred: familiarity with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Node.js.
- Preferred: hands-on React/Next.js experience.
- Preferred: experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Qdrant, Pinecone, or FAISS.
- Preferred: interest in system hardware engineering workflows such as test automation, data analysis, and hardware validation.
