Base Salary
$140k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own expertise and technical authority for Bitwarden’s browser-extension autofill and form-change detection.
- Improve the autofill and form-detection experience as new web UI patterns emerge.
- Develop and maintain browser UI automation tests.
- Participate in code reviews, learning, and technical knowledge sharing.
- Occasionally contribute bug fixes submitted by the user community.
- Document complex technical solutions and communicate knowledge to the Engineering team.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of browser UI behavior, including DOM manipulation and content scripts.
- Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript and a modern framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Understanding of browser-extension development.
- Proficiency with source-control tools such as Git, SVN, Subversion, or TFS.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and documentation skills.
- Interest in open source and improving internet security.
