Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve reusable Angular UI components aligned with design system guidelines.
- Develop complex data table and filtering features within the component library.
- Implement reactive form components and design-system form input patterns.
- Write unit tests with Jasmine and Karma and end-to-end tests with Cypress.
- Ensure components meet WCAG accessibility standards through automated testing tools.
- Maintain component documentation and apply code quality standards with ESLint and Prettier.
- Work within the Angular library structure, including ng-package, schematics, and multiple tsconfig targets.
- Participate in component library versioning and releases and support library consumers.
- Collaborate with framework developers and the CSS lead to maintain a cohesive design and code foundation.
- Provide onboarding, integration guidance, and technical support to internal development teams adopting the library.
- Use AI tools to accelerate library development and embed the design system into internal AI solutions.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on Angular experience, including Angular v15+; the project is on Angular 21.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Reactive Forms, and component lifecycle hooks.
- Proficiency with HTML, SCSS, design tokens, and component-level styling.
- Experience writing maintainable, well-documented code with accompanying unit tests and familiarity with end-to-end testing.
- Comfort working in a monorepo and Angular library project structure.
- Comfort working with Figma to analyze design specifications.
- Solid Git workflow skills, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills, and ability to raise and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Prior design system or component library experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with Angular CDK, advanced component patterns, Angular Schematics, WCAG principles, automated accessibility testing, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Helm is desirable.
