Responsibilities
- Develop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- Design and implement hardware testing strategies and automated testing tools.
- Collaborate with software and production teams to enhance automation.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production, product, and process issues.
- Lead system architecture designs for technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
- Experience driving strategic design of scalable system architecture.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with strong problem-solving, communication, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Preferred: experience with hardware testing, automated test systems, hardware-software integration, data analysis, performance monitoring, and high-volume manufacturing.
- Preferred: experience with SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, and Nix.
