Responsibilities
- Develop new features and enhancements for distributed web applications with minimal supervision.
- Fix moderately complex bugs, debug systems, and perform medium-level refactoring.
- Design, build, and consume services and APIs using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Implement unit and integration testing and contribute to reliable software releases.
- Review code, provide constructive feedback, and recommend improvements to existing code.
- Apply secure software development practices, review code for vulnerabilities, and follow OWASP guidelines.
- Document technical solutions, contribute to the knowledge base, and present to technical teams.
- Work with third-party APIs, workflow systems, integration architectures, and cloud services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a distributed web application development environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET/.NET Core framework.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming services and APIs.
- Experience with Azure services and APIs or an equivalent cloud vendor such as AWS.
- Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with source control systems such as Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment methodologies, third-party APIs, workflow, and integration architectures.
- Understanding of secure coding principles, OWASP guidelines, software development lifecycles, testing, and integration testing.
- Preferred qualifications include travel-domain experience, Java experience paired with travel-domain expertise, AI-assisted development workflows, data processing or data engineering experience, AI/ML service integrations, Docker, and Kubernetes.
