Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute system and software integration, qualification, regression, and other integration test events.
  • Configure and operate VMware-based virtualized test environments simulating target operational baselines.
  • Integrate software baselines, enhancements, patches, and interfaces while validating compatibility with hardware, sensors, and C5ISR systems.
  • Execute Nessus/ACAS scans, analyze findings, support remediation, and verify vulnerability closure with cybersecurity personnel.
  • Maintain authorized software baselines through security patching, updates, and configuration changes aligned with ATO and RMF requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, reports, installation guides, build plans, build lists, version descriptions, configuration guides, and baseline comparison matrices.
  • Reproduce, document, track, and troubleshoot defects, including logs, environment details, and steps to reproduce.
  • Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, cybersecurity personnel, logisticians, and Government stakeholders on root-cause analysis and corrective-action verification.
  • Support configuration management and accurate status accounting of software loads, configurations, test results, issues, and changes in CMPro and other repositories.

Requirements

  • At least five years of IT professional experience supporting the lifecycle of hybrid software, web, and hardware systems through requirements, design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it within the first six months of employment.
  • Experience integrating and validating complex tactical or intelligence systems and executing laboratory integration and test events.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, securing, and maintaining Windows- and Linux-based virtual-machine test environments.
  • Working knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements, DISA STIGs, patching, vulnerability management, RMF compliance, and ATO support.
  • Experience using SCAP, Nessus, and/or ACAS to assess configurations and document cybersecurity results.
  • Experience developing test plans, test reports, installation procedures, software build lists, and configuration or user documentation.
  • Familiarity with configuration-management tools and processes such as CMPro and JIRA.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in computer science, computer engineering, or systems engineering preferred.
  • More than seven years supporting DoD C5ISR, intelligence, or tactical communications programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with TAK, WinTAK, ATAK, biometric/exploitation tools, and Naval or Joint C2/Fires integration preferred.
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM sprint test planning, TEMP development, T&E WIPTs, and TRBs preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government Secret-level security clearance are required.
