Base Salary
$187k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of full-stack features spanning React, C# services, databases, and deployment pipelines.
- Design and build scalable 3D geospatial solutions using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.
- Create solutions for complex, ill-defined problems and drive projects through successful completion.
- Set up end-to-end solution structures, DevSecOps tooling, and deployment processes using Octopus Deploy and cloud technologies.
- Develop, test, improve, and maintain production-quality software, including AI-assisted implementations.
- Own unit, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing strategies and improve test frameworks.
- Triage production failures, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues to resolution.
- Collaborate with product leads, Product Managers, and business stakeholders on product development and strategy.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide ongoing support for organizational applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.x, including 3D development and publishing and serving spatial data.
- Hands-on experience with modern LLM APIs, prompt engineering, tool use/function calling, structured outputs, and context engineering.
- Ability to review, validate, and debug AI-generated code using strong engineering judgment.
- Experience with backend systems, microservice architectures, and distributed systems using C#, Python, or Node.js.
- Front-end experience with React; Angular or Vue.js are also considered.
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Solid experience with a major cloud platform.
- Experience with relational databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, and with NoSQL databases.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerization technologies.
- Experience owning testing strategies and building or improving test frameworks.
- Experience triaging production failures and independently driving root cause analysis to resolution.
- Preferred experience building or deploying LLM-enabled systems, AI agents, or agent orchestration frameworks.
- Preferred experience designing evaluation and testing frameworks for AI- or agent-generated outputs.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI and agent platforms, relevant data-intensive domains, and cloud-native modernization is preferred.
