Responsibilities
- Develop deployment capabilities for installation, upgrades, and rollbacks across varied environments.
- Design and implement monitoring, health checks, self-healing, and automated remediation for distributed deployments.
- Establish and maintain SLAs and SLOs for cloud and enterprise offerings.
- Lead incident response and postmortem processes.
- Optimize system performance, capacity planning, and cost efficiency.
- Improve on-call practices, runbooks, knowledge sharing, and overall platform reliability.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, customer success, and cross-functional teams on reliable product delivery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Strong expertise with AWS, GCP, Azure, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration.
- Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
- Understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Preferred: experience operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Preferred: experience developing customer-facing deployment and management tools.
- Preferred: knowledge of data infrastructure and metadata management systems.
