Base Salary
$93k - $109k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, performant technical designs that follow architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and improve operational practices.
- Conduct code reviews and apply development standards, compliance requirements, and security best practices.
- Support software reliability engineering standards and contribute to technology transformation and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize and size work for incremental delivery while communicating blockers and delays.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, third-party vendors, and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Two to three years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on technical knowledge of COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
- Experience with GitLab is preferred.
- Understanding of the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
- Experience working in financial institutions is preferred.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and best practices.
- Ability to define and fulfill solution requirements for end users.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
