Responsibilities
- Design risk-based test strategies and convert them into automated test coverage.
- Build and maintain Playwright automation suites integrated with GitHub Actions.
- Create agentic testing workflows, reusable automation frameworks, shared libraries, and AI-powered quality tools.
- Improve test-suite health by reducing flakiness, increasing execution speed, and strengthening release confidence.
- Own quality metrics including automation coverage, escaped defects, execution performance, flakiness, and release confidence.
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to influence requirements, observability, deployment, and preventative quality practices.
- Enable developers to write, run, and maintain automated tests in their daily workflows.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to review, validate, and debug code across modern programming languages.
- Strong experience with modern test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI coding agents as a primary development partner for generating, reviewing, debugging, refactoring, and maintaining code.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar platforms.
- Experience with agentic testing frameworks, AI-powered testing tools, or LLM API integrations.
- A proven record of increasing automation coverage, reducing manual effort, and improving software quality outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering, test strategy, risk analysis, and defect prevention.
- Experience testing AI-powered products, designing evaluation frameworks, or working with prompt engineering, AI quality assessment, AI observability, performance testing, load testing, resilience testing, Jira-integrated test management platforms, or internal developer and testing tools is advantageous.
- Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, and curiosity toward emerging AI technologies and engineering practices.
