Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements, workflows, and business use cases.
- Design and execute positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case test scenarios.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects with clear technical details.
- Investigate unexpected product behavior using logical and analytical reasoning.
- Write basic scripts and programs for test automation and data validation.
- Analyze logs, API responses, and system behavior to identify potential issues.
- Perform regression, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to resolve issues.
- Improve test coverage and contribute ideas to improve QA processes.
Requirements
- Strong programming fundamentals in Java, JavaScript, Python, or a similar language.
- Good logical reasoning, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical abilities.
- Understanding of data structures, conditions, loops, functions, and debugging concepts.
- Ability to understand APIs, request and response structures, validations, and integrations.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain problems clearly.
- Willingness to learn automation and modern QA tools.
- Preferred skills include REST API testing, Postman or similar API tools, basic SQL, Git, and basic automation testing knowledge.
- Basic understanding of HTTP methods, JSON, REST APIs, and CI/CD is a plus.
- Prior QA experience is not required; learning attitude and product understanding are valued.
