Base Salary
$230k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support Client Directors with technical presentations, solution design, and technical sales campaigns.
- Own technical campaign activities through handoff to consulting and services teams.
- Design, architect, and sometimes consult on client solutions across enterprise cloud and data center environments.
- Present technical briefings, lab demonstrations, conferences, user groups, and forums.
- Qualify opportunities based on technical requirements, decision processes, funding, and campaign viability.
- Qualify and position consulting engagements and services while driving conversions to additional solutions.
- Build account strategies, identify relevant technologies and vendors, and develop client relationships.
- Lead the Solution Verification and BOM Review process for the assigned geography.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team resources and contribute feedback on new solutions and internal efficiencies.
- Track work effort, client engagement, and key performance indicators using provided tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of pre-sales and data center experience.
- Experience serving as a technical lead in a pre-sales sales campaign.
- Extensive knowledge of one or more data center solutions, including storage, networking, compute, virtualization, data center management or automation, and security.
- Professional communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under critical conditions and influence others to achieve results.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, teamwork, independence, self-motivation, and customer-focused skills.
