Responsibilities
- Ensure FlashArray and FlashBlade products and features ship with high quality.
- Create system test designs focused on FlashArray and FlashBlade.
- Identify statistical and systemic hardware issues earlier in development programs.
- Design and build tools to execute and triage large numbers of test scripts efficiently.
- Understand product features and target failure domains to improve fault tolerance and resilience.
- Identify test gaps, perform root cause analysis, and resolve customer-found defects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of software system testing experience or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of hands-on automation experience using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Strong knowledge of system testing with end-to-end automation.
- Familiarity with Jenkins environments.
- Familiarity with x86 hardware designs, BMC, BIOS, networking, and system software.
- Experience developing test strategies for server hardware validation.
- Exposure to enterprise products using cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack, and Oracle deployment and customer use cases.
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
