Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs and backend services for the Web3 payments platform.
- Build new features that improve the product experience.
- Collaborate with product and protocol teams to architect solutions that meet business requirements.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to incident response and debug production issues to maintain system reliability.
Requirements
- Strong experience building production backend systems with modern languages.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and database design principles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Strong problem-solving and complex debugging abilities.
- Clear communication and effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Preferred experience includes blockchain integrations, smart contracts, DeFi protocols, high-scale payment processing, financial compliance systems, event-driven architectures, real-time data processing, open-source contributions, or technical writing.
